Dear family and friends,

Jesus Christ is truly my all in all, my hope, my joy, and my sustainer through both wonderful and challenging times. 

("Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you your heart's desires." Ps 37:4)

I would say, above all else, 2022 was a year of change. The biggest change of all, of course, was the purchase of this amazing property that I know was a gift from the Lord himself. We've had quite the turnover of girls, which I understand to be standard practice in Mexican orphanages, plus the return of 2 of our precious gems that had been taken from us. 

Schooling for each individual girl has improved over these past 4 months. I am particularly excited for the 7 who are able to attend school at the YWAM base. Many of the girls come to us with little to no education, but they are now all reading fluently! If one can't read, one cannot effectively participate in any subjects so this is a huge win and blessing for the girls.  Outside of their core curriculum, they have also been taking ballet, physical education, and choir! 

Prayer Requests: 

• I consistently ask you to pray for the Lord to grant us wisdom - we need to hear the Holy Spirit's voice!

• Our monthly support has been down this past year, mainly because so many of you gave generously toward our forever home. Now that we continue to grow, we are in need of a monthly increase to support the girls themselves.
