August 2020
Dear Friends,
I want to encourage you with this testimony of how our Father is good, how He is merciful and the Father of comfort! You’ve read in my recent Newsletters that Treasure House received 3 new little ones (a 5, a 4 and a 1 year old). Just these 3 alone and my 9 year old that is showing more and more signs of mental disabilities, is a “Cup Runneth Over” and I still have 8 others to care for! But, my God knows all! The first week of Aug (not too long after my Canadian helper had to leave) I received a phone call that a Mexican missionary arrived from Georgia wanting to help with an orphanage. The next day she moved in and has no plans to leave! She’s an amazing woman of God and has so much to offer our little gems. It does not stop there… We also had a 2 week visit from a young lady from Acapulco wanting to also become a missionary! With her family and churches permission she plans to return by mid October. These two ladies are direct answers to my prayers that we fill the house with self-supporting-missionary help and use the funds raised to benefit the children directly. I heard my Father whisper to me one day not to long ago, “You receive the girls, I’ll provide the help.”
Difficulties With the Government
Two of our precious girls, sisters that are 9 and 7 years old, are in danger of being placed into another home against their wishes! Each girl is appointed a state lawyer, social worker and psychologist. The problem began when I stood up for my girl when she secretly told me that she did not want to speak with this psychologist about her private/intimate issues because he is a man. Treasure House is a home specifically for young girls who’ve been sexually exploited, so we can understand her peril. The trio became very angry with me this past spring when I shared this information with them and threatened to move the girls. Just recently we were visited again and, on false pretenses, the sisters were taken out and shown another home. This has caused a lot of tears from us all and much heartache. We ask for your prayers as we beseech the directors of this particular department to overrule these plans.

Praise Report:
Our little 5 year old, after much prayer and one-on-one time with our psychologist, is beginning to settle into the routine and we’re seeing fewer and fewer behavioral problems! Praise God! Now for Angel who has seemed to regress since the “invasion” of the littles! Lord help her!
..your life is safe in the care of the Lord your God, secure in his treasure pouch!…
